  1. Riley (20-4): Payton Baird poured in 26 points in the Wildcats’ 72-37 win over Bowman Academy.
  2. Northridge (18-5): Despite 14 points and 12 rebounds from Mason Bales, the Raiders saw their eight=game winning streak come to an end with a 43-39 loss to DeKalb.
  3. Concord (17-4): Avery Johnson was held to three points in the Minutemen’s 40-39 loss at Westview.
  4. Warsaw (17-5): Brandt Martin tallied 22 points in the Tigers’ 62-50 win at Tippecanoe Valley.
  5. Marian (16-8): Jordan Maust chipped in nine points as the No. 10 (Class 3A) Knights earned their 12th straight win and a share of the Northern Indiana Conference title with a 50-36 triumph over Adams.
  6. Penn (16-6): Peyton Miamba came off the bench to tally 15 points in the Kingsmen’s 64-57 loss to Merrillville.
  7. Mishawaka (16-7): Trey Thomas accounted for 15 points, including the game-winning basket, for the Cavemen in their 57-55 win over Saint Joseph.

HONORABLE MENTION

Clay (12-10): Tyrese Jones accounted for 27 points in the Colonials’ 68-64 win at LaPorte.

Goshen (10-12): Merrill Weddell netted 10 points as the RedHawks notched their fourth straight win with a 53-46 decision over Glenn.

Jimtown (12-10): Javen Jackson pitched in 11 points in the Jimmies’ 57-39 win at Argos.

NorthWood (14-8): Mason Pearson amassed two points in the defending Class 3A state champion Panthers’ 53-40 win over Elkhart.

Saint Joseph (15-9): Jerry Barca managed four points for Saint Joe against Mishawaka.

MAKING WAVES

Adams (9-14): David Hayo notched four points in the Eagles’ 59-43 win over Elkhart Christian.

Bremen (10-12): Anthony Torres’ two points in a 58-35 win over Culver lifted the Lions to their third straight triumph.

Washington (10-12): Andre Wells netted 11 points in the Panthers’ 93-42 win over Career Academy.

Wawasee (8-14): Maddux Everingham tossed in 17 points as the Warriors made it two in a row with a 61-50 win at East Noble.

HELP WANTED

Elkhart (3-19): Triton Harris finished with five points for the Lions against NorthWood.

Glenn (10-13): Chase Miller ended with 14 points for the Falcons against Goshen.

New Prairie (4-18): Jaydon Clemons notched six points in the Cougars’ 70-38 loss to Clay.

Plymouth (8-14): Kadyn Ellery accounted for 20 points in the Pilgrims’ 98-57 loss to Saint Joseph.

GAMES TO WATCH

Concord (17-4) vs. Goshen (10-12) (Tuesday-Class 4A Elkhart): The Minutemen have taken the previous three meetings against Goshen.

Culver Academy (7-14) vs. Glenn (10-13) (Tuesday-Class 3A Tippecanoe Valley): The defending champion Falcons have won four of the last five contests with Culver Academy.

LaPorte (10-13) vs. Mishawaka (16-7) (Tuesday-Class 4A Mishawaka): The defending champion Cavemen have claimed eight wins in the previous 13 matchups against LaPorte.

Michigan City (11-11) vs. Plymouth (8-14) (Tuesday-Class 4A Mishawaka): The Wolves have never won a sectional championship, while Plymouth’s last tournament triumph came in 2019.

New Prairie (4-18) vs. Jimtown (12-10) (Tuesday-Class 3A Washington): The Jimmies are in pursuit of their first post-season win since 2020, while New Prairie’s last sectional title came in 2021.

Penn (16-6) vs. Northridge (17-5) (Tuesday-Class 4A Elkhart): The defending champion Kingsmen are looking for their seventh straight triumph over Northridge.

Washington (10-12) vs. Marian (16-8) (Tuesday-Class 3A Washington): The defending champion Panthers have dropped 10 of the last 12 games with Marian.

Wawasee (8-14) vs. Lakeland (16-6) (Tuesday-Class 3A Lakeland): The Warriors’ last sectional crown came in 2010, while Lakeland has not celebrated a sectional title since 2008.
