STILL IN THE HUNT

Adams (1-8): Anthony Sharp managed three tackles in the Eagles’ 42-0 loss to No. 8 (Class 6A) Penn.

Bremen (5-5): Carson Anderson found the end zone twice in the Lions’ 42-7 win over Hammond Bishop Noll.

Concord (5-4): Bo Brunner went 9-of-16 for 106 yards with a touchdown for the Minutemen in their 46-6 win over Plymouth.

Elkhart (3-6): Darreon Newson recorded 14 tackles in the Lions’ 16-8 loss to New Prairie.

Glenn (6-4): Mason Kobelt ran 10 times for 73 yards and two scores in the Falcons’ 64-0 win over Clay.

Goshen (1-8): Drew Elliott managed 18 carries for 50 yards and 18 tackles in the RedHawks’ 22-0 loss to NorthWood.

Mishawaka (8-2): Novell Miller ran nine times for 126 yards with a score in the No. 9 (Class 5A) Cavemen’s 41-22 win over Wawasee.

New Prairie (8-2): Reed Robinson tallied 14 carries for 179 yards with three touchdowns in the Cougars’ 49-14 win over Hobart.

Northridge (8-2): Derek Sherwood raced 13 times for 90 yards with two scores in the No, 8 (Class 4A) Raiders’ 39-3 win at Logansport.

NorthWood (8-2): Owen Roeder completed 19-of-24 for 325 yards with four touchdowns in the Panthers’ 52-10 win over Saint Joseph.

Penn (8-1): Jake Balis accounted for 12 carries for 70 yards with a score for the Kingsmen against Adams.

Washington (3-7): Gabe Weber want 14-of-27 for 245 yards with three scores in the Panthers’ 43-28 win over Plymouth.

Warsaw (8-1): Drew Sullivan tallied 36 yards on the ground for the Tigers in their 24-10 win over No. 8 (Class 4A) Northridge.

Wawasee (2-8): Hunter Tinkey carried the ball six times for 159 yards with three scores in he Warriors’ 35-26 win over Riley.

THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

Clay (3-7): In their final game, the Colonials were guilty of four turnovers and allowed 27 first-quarter points against Glenn.

Jimtown (4-6): Jackson Clopton came up with a pair of interceptions in the Jimmies’ 17-6 loss to Fairfield.

Marian (5-5): Braxton Brooks recorded seven catches for 164 yards with two scores in the Knights’ 46-43 loss to West Noble.

Plymouth (2-8): Grady Metzger completed 10-of-17 for 201 yards with two touchdowns and ran 10 times for 46 yards with two scores for the Rockies against South Bend Washington.

Riley (8-2): Payton Baird hauled in 12 passes for 168 yards with two scores for the Wildcats against Wawasee.

Saint Joseph (4-6): Brady Langager amassed 15 carries for 62 yards for Saint Joe against NorthWood.

COMING ATTRACTIONS

Carroll (Fort Wayne) (7-2) at Warsaw (8-1) (Class 6A Sectional 2): The No. 9 Chargers are looking for their third straight win over Warsaw.

Elkhart (3-6) at Penn (8-1) (Class 6A Sectional 2): The Lions are trying to halt a four-game losing streak against Penn.

Mishawaka (7-2) at Goshen (1-8) (Class 5A Sectional 11): The Cavemen have won the previous seven meetings with Goshen.

Concord (5-4) at Adams (1-8) (Class 5A Sectional 11): This is the first meeting between the Minutemen and Adams since 1998 and just the third matchup all-time with the series tied 1-1.

New Prairie (8-2) at Kankakee Valley (5-5) (Class 4A Sectional 17): The Cougars have claimed four of the last five meetings with Kankakee Valley.

Washington (3-7) at NorthWood (8-2) (Class 4A Sectional 18): The Panthers’ triumph over Plymouth was their first post-season win since 2015, while NorthWood has lost to Northridge in the playoffs the last two years.

Wawasee (2-8) at Northridge (8-2) (Class 4A Sectional 18): The Raiders have taken nine straight games against Wawasee.

Fairfield (6-4) at Glenn (6-4) (Class 3A Sectional 26): The Falcons have suffered six consecutive losses to Glenn.

Wheeler (6-3) at Bremen (5-5) (Class 2A Sectional 33): The Lions are in pursuit of their fourth straight triumph over Wheeler.
