ELITE EIGHT

Crown Point (22-2): Kingston Rhodes drained 20 points in the No. 4 Bulldogs’ 68-62 overtime win against Portage in the Class 4A Michigan City regional final.

East Chicago Central (20-8): Dominique Murphy’s 28 points lifted the Cardinals to a 78-55 triumph over Hanover Central in the Class 3A Michigan City regional finale.

Gary 21st Century (20-6): Jacolby Donaldson tallied all nine of his points in the fourth quarter as the No. 6 Cougars used an 18-1 run to close out the contest and post a 61-46 win over No. 8 Fort Wayne Bishop Luers in the Class 2A North Judson regional final.

Jimtown (16-10): Branden King recorded 14 points and nine rebounds in the Jimmies’ 56-40 win over Westview for the Class 2A Triton regional crown.

Kouts (23-4): Landon Garrett registered 17 points for the No. 7 Mustangs in their 56-45 win over Tri-County for the Class 1A North Judson regional championship.

Riley (22-4): Tyrese Jones erupted for 45 points and 10 rebounds in the Wildcats’ 77-71 win over No. 9 Warsaw in the Class 4A Washington regional final.

Saint Joseph (24-3): Chase Konieczny chipped in 12 points in the No. 2 Huskies’ 50-46 win over Columbia City for the Class 3A Washington regional title.

Triton (23-4): Gage Riffle buried 13 points to help the host Trojans down Lakewood Park Christian, 63-40, for their first Class 1A regional championship since 2013.

Hanover Central (15-12): Brad Rohde’s 28 points were not enough for the Wildcats against East Chicago Central.

Portage (20-6): Michael Wellman finished with 20 points for the Indians against Crown Point.

Warsaw (25-5): Carson Gould finished with 15 points for the Tigers against Riley.

Westview (18-8): Owen Brill was limited to eight points for the Warriors against Jimtown.

NEXT TEST

Riley (22-4) vs. Fishers (28-0) (Class 4A Elkhart): The Wildcats are looking for their first semistate crown since 1945, while top-ranked and defending state champion Fishers is going for its second straight title.

Homestead (22-5) vs. Crown Point (22-2) (Class 4A Elkhart): The Spartans have not captured a semistate title since 2015, while Crown Point is in the semistate for the second year in a row.

Maconaquah (21-5) vs. Saint Joseph (24-3) (Class 3A Logansport): The Braves are making their first semistate appearance since 1999, while Saint Joseph is trying to make it back to the state finals for the second year in a row.

East Chicago Central (20-8) vs. Delta (17-7) (Class 3A Logansport): The Cardinals have not won a semistate crown since 2007, while Delta’s last semistate title came in 2002.

Gary 21st Century (20-6) vs. Wapahani (26-1) (Class 2A Michigan City): The Cougars return to the semistate for the first time since 2023, while top-ranked Wapahani was state runner-up a year ago.

Manchester (23-2) vs. Jimtown (16-10) (Class 2A Michigan City): The No. 3 Squires are back in the semistate for the first time since 1994, while Jimtown is looking for its first semistate championship since winning the state title in 2004.

Kouts (23-4) vs. Monroe Central (19-6) (Class 1A Lafayette Jeff): The No. 7 Mustangs’ only semistate title came in 2021, while Monroe Central returns to the semistate for the first time since 2010.

Triton (23-4) vs. Clinton Prairie (24-2) (Class 1A Lafayette Jeff): The Trojans are trying for their fifth semistate title, while No. 3 Clinton Prairie is making its first trip to the semistate.
