OFF TO INDIANAPOLIS

Adams Central (13-1): Aaron Hirschy accounted for 11 carries for 59 yards with two scores in the No. 4 Flying Jets’ 20-13 win against Andrean in the Class 2A northern semistate final.

Brownsburg (12-1): Iosua Stephens tallied 12 carries for 63 yards with two touchdowns in the No. 4 Bulldogs’ 31-27 win over Center Grove for the Class 6A southern semistate championship.

Decatur Central (10-2): Kasmir Hicks recorded seven catches for 81 yards with a score in the No. 4 Hawks’ 27-13 win against Bloomington South for the Class 5A southern semistate crown.

East Noble (13-1): Kobe Ritchie amassed seven tackles and an interception with 1:48 left to preserve the No. 2 Knights’ 18-13 win over No. 6 Mishawaka in the Class 4A northern semistate final.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (10-4): Dereon Carswell racked up 11 tackles in the Knights’ 28-14 victory against No. 4 Garrett for the Class 3A northern semistate title.

Heritage Hills (13-1): Tyler Ruxer had two receptions for 54 yards with a touchdown in the No. 3 Patriots’ 42-0 blanking of Batesville in the Class 3A southern semistate finale.

Linton-Stockton (12-2): Russell Goodman returned an interception 16 yards for a score in the No. 7 Miners’ 40-28 win over No. 3 Indianapolis Lutheran for the Class 2A southern semistate crown.

New Palestine (13-0): Austin McMahan registered three catches for 93 yards with a touchdown in the top-ranked Dragons’ 43-7 win over No. 3 Martinsville for the Class 4A southern semistate title.

North Judson (14-0): Brock Benson finished with 21 carries for 96 yards with a score in the top-ranked Bluejays’ 46-0 victory against South Adams in the Class 1A northern semistate final.

Providence (13-0): Cooper Ross ran 21 times for 65 yards and racked up seven tackles in the No. 3 Pioneers’ 35-30 win over No. 6 South Putnam for the Class 1A southern semistate championship.

Warsaw (10-3): Cohen Heady came up with two interceptions, including one returned 25 yards for a score, and a fumble recovery in the No. 9 Tigers’ 31-14 win over No. 3 Merrillville in the Class 5A northern semistate finale.

Westfield (12-1): Beau Braun hauled in four receptions for 84 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown pass, in the No. 3 Shamrocks’ 30-7 win over No. 2 Crown Point in the Class 6A northern semistate affair.

Andrean (9-5): PJ Cusick booted field goals of 44 and 20 yards for the 59ers against Adams Central.

Batesville (9-4): Will Jaisle and the Bulldogs were limited to 226 total yards against Heritage Hills.

Bloomington South (8-5): Bryce Taylor converted field goals of 31 and 30 yards for the Panthers against Decatur Central.

Center Grove (8-5): Nolan Rees had scoring runs of nine and three yards for the Trojans against Brownsburg.

Crown Point (12-1): Logan Urbaniak’s 47-yard touchdown reception was one of the few highlights for the Bulldogs against Westfield.

Garrett (13-1): Alex Guzman managed a 15-yard catch for a score for the Railroaders against Bishop Luers.

Indianapolis Lutheran (12-2): LJ Ward hauled in touchdown passes of 86 and 51 yards for the Saints against Linton-Stockton.

Martinsville (12-2): Lucas Dewey accounted for 50 yards on 15 carries for the Artesians against New Palestine.

Merrillville (11-2): Dermont Bogard came up with a 35-yard reception for a score for the Pirates against Warsaw.

Mishawaka (11-3): Kaden Smith caught a 24-yard touchdown pass and ran one yard for another tally for the Cavemen against East Noble.

South Adams (8-6): Will Patterson was limited to four carries for 11 yards for the Starfires against North Judson.

South Putnam (11-3): Wyatt Switzer took a kickoff back 95 yards for a touchdown for the Eagles against Providence.

FINAL EXAMS

Brownsburg (12-1) vs. Westfield (12-1) (Class 6A): The Bulldogs’ last state championship (Class 4A) came in 1985, while Westfield won its only title (Class 5A) in 2016.

Decatur Central (10-2) vs. Warsaw (10-3) (Class 5A): The Hawks are making their second straight appearance in the Class 5A title game, while Warsaw is making its first visit to Lucas Oil Stadium.

Heritage Hills (13-1) vs. Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (10-4) (Class 3A): The Patriots were Class 3A state runner-up a year ago, while Bishop Luers claimed the Class 2A championship last season.

Linton-Stockton (12-2) vs. Adams Central (13-1) (Class 2A): The Miners captured the Class 1A crown in 2016, while Adams Central finished as Class 1A state runner-up the last three years.

New Palestine (13-0) vs. East Noble (13-1) (Class 4A): The Dragons were Class 5A state champion in 2019, while East Noble was Class 4A state runner-up in 2019.

Providence (13-0) vs. North Judson (14-0) (Class 1A): The Pioneers finished as Class 1A state runner-up in 1973 and 1993, while North Judson was Class 1A state runner-up in 1984 and 1986.
