FABULOUS FIVE

  1. Concord (8-0): Bo Brunner was 9-of-16 for 217 yards with two touchdowns and ran four times for 53 yards as the top-ranked (Class 5A) Minutemen clinched the outright Northern Lakes Conference crown with a 44-7 win over Wawasee.
  2. Elkhart (7-1): Tre Fedele completed both of his passes for 90 yards with a score as the No. 10 (Class 6A) Lions earned a share of the Northern Indiana Conference title with a 26-0 win over Marian.
  3. Mishawaka (6-2): Drew Ginter’s two interceptions paved the way in the No. 6 (Class 4A) Cavemen’s 34-10 win over Plymouth.
  4. Penn (6-2): Jonathan Searfoss returned an interception 30 yards for a score in the Kingsmen’s 24-7 win at New Prairie.
  5. Warsaw (5-3): Brody Duncan accounted for 110 yards on the ground with a touchdown in the Tigers’ 35-21 win over NorthWood.

HONORABLE MENTION

Knox (5-3): Jake Conroy found the endzone three times in the Redskins’ 46-38 loss at Bremen.

Plymouth (5-3): Carlos Carrillo booted a 35-yard field goal for the Rockies against Mishawaka.

New Prairie (5-3): Isaac Fronk came up with two catches for 45 yards for the Cougars against Penn.

Saint Joseph (5-3): Noah Boutsomsy raced 42 yards for a touchdown in the Huskies’ 49-0 win over Washington.

Tippecanoe Valley (6-2): Owen Omandi’s 85-yard kickoff return for a score lifted the Vikings to a 22-21 win over Glenn.

GETTING BETTER

Adams (2-6): Cleal Kimbrough’s 38-yard scoring reception helped the Eagles to a 7-6 win over Riley.

Bremen (4-4): Luke Kincaid had two catches for 62 yards with two scores for the Lions against Knox.

Jimtown (5-3): Ty Zartman accounted for 275 yards on the ground with three touchdowns in the Jimmies’ 49-20 win at LaVille.

Northridge (3-5): Derek Sherwood scampered for 108 yards and two touchdowns in the Raiders’ 42-3 win over Goshen.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Glenn (1-6): Walter Drews came up with 85 yards on the ground with a score for the Falcons against Tippecanoe Valley.

Goshen (0-8): Marco Macias-Lopez drilled a 28-yard field goal for the RedHawks against Northridge.

LaVille (3-5): Brayden Schwitz hauled in two touchdown passes for the Lancers against Jimtown.

Marian (3-5): Braxton Brooks came up with four catches for 54 yards for the Knights against Elkhart.

NorthWood (3-5): Austin King raced 22 times for 103 yards with two scores for the Panthers against Warsaw.

Riley (2-5): Karon Miller’s three-yard touchdown romp was not enough for the Wildcats against Adams.

Washington (0-8): After being blanked by Saint Joseph, the Panthers have now been held scoreless for five straight quarters.

Wawasee (1-7); Bradyn Pike caught a nine-yard touchdown pass for the Warriors against Concord.

LOOKING FORWARD

Concord (8-0) at Plymouth (5-3): The Minutemen are going for their first unbeaten regular season since 2010, while Plymouth is guaranteed its first winning regular season campaign since 2019.

Jimtown (5-3) at Lakeland (5-3): The Jimmies claimed a share of the Indiana Northern State Conference title, while Lakeland is trying to halt a two-game losing streak.

Riley (2-5) at Marian (3-5): The Wildcats are trying to stop a six-game losing streak against Marian.

Saint Joseph (5-3) at Penn (6-2): The Huskies are enjoying their first above .500 regular season finish since 2018, while Penn has not posted a losing record since 1972.

Tippecanoe Valley (6-2) at Bremen (4-4): The Vikings have dropped eight of the previous 13 contests with Bremen.
