FABULOUS FIVE

  1. Concord (3-0): Jaron Thomas romped 24 times for 175 yards and two touchdowns in the No. 8 (Class 5A) Minutemen’s 35-34 win over No. 3 (Class 4A) Mishawaka.
  2. Mishawaka (2-1): Jackson Snyder tallied eight carries for 70 yards with a score for the Cavemen against Concord.
  3. Penn (2-1): Jaedon Parker raced 15 times for 125 yards with three touchdowns in the Kingsmen’s 35-7 win over Riley.
  4. Tippecanoe Valley (3-0): Wes Parker raced nine times for 118 yards with a score in the No. 8 (Class 3A) Vikings’ 35-23 win over Hammond Morton.
  5. Saint Joseph (2-1): Kobby Addo racked up 13 tackles and two sacks in the Huskies’ 7-0 win at No, 4 (Class 4A) New Prairie.

HONORABLE MENTION

Bremen (2-1): Silas Laidig completed 8-of-9 passes for 188 yards with two scores in the Lions’ 41-0 blanking of Osceola Grace.

Elkhart (2-1): Novell Miller came up with three rushes for 38 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions’ 69-0 win over Washington.

New Prairie (2-1): Keegan Taylor caught a 47-yard pass for the Cougars against Saint Joseph.

NorthWood (2-1): Micah Jarrell tossed for 178 yards with four touchdowns and scampered for 130 yards in the No. 10 (Class 4A) Panthers’ 49-14 win over Wawasee.

Warsaw (2-1): Tucker Reed found the end zone twice in the No. 8 (Class 5A) Tigers’ 56-7 win over Goshen.

GETTING BETTER

Jimtown (1-2): Ty Zartman accounted for 116 yards on the ground with a touchdown in the Jimmies’ 35-0 blanking of Fairfield.

LaVille (1-2): Cody Allen recorded a pair of touchdowns in the Lancers’ 27-0 win over Central Noble.

Marian (1-2): Lucas Marr was 10-of-19 for 149 yards with a touchdown in the Knights’ 41-2 win over Adams.

Northridge (1-2): Karsyn Rumfelt ran and threw for scores in the Raiders’ 13-7 win at Plymouth.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Adams (0-3): Mason Foster managed 15 carries for 47 yards for the Eagles against Marian.

Glenn (1-1): Brayden Benwell accounted for the Falcons’ lone touchdown in a 48-8 loss to Edwardsburg.

Goshen (0-3): Logan Mishler hauled in a 57-yard reception for a score for the RedHawks against Warsaw.

Knox (1-2): Myles McLaughlin rolled up 29 carries for 247 yards with four scores in the No. 8 (Class 3A) Redskins’ 47-46 loss at Culver Academy.

Plymouth (1-2): Lathan Cotton recorded 15 tackles for the Rockies against Northridge.

Riley (1-1): Bradford Anderson recorded an interception for the Wildcats against Penn.

Washington (0-3): The Panthers had four turnovers and were limited to 29 yards of offense against Elkhart.

Wawasee (0-3); Bradyn Pike scampered for 71 yards and a score for the Warriors against NorthWood.

LOOKING FORWARD

Concord (3-0) at Northridge (1-2): The Raiders are going for their third straight win over Concord.

Elkhart (2-1) at Riley (1-1): This is the first meeting since Elkhart blanked Riley, 44-0, during the 1971 campaign.

NorthWood (2-1) at Mishawaka (2-1): The Cavemen are looking to halt a two-game losing streak to NorthWood.

Saint Joseph (2-1) at Marian (1-2): The Knights have taken four of the previous five meetings against Saint Joseph.

Tippecanoe Valley (3-0) at Knox (1-2): The Vikings are making their first visit to Knox’s Community Field.
