SENASATIONAL SEVEN

  1. Northridge (11-1): Karsyn Rumfelt chipped in 13 points in the No. 9 (Class 4A) Raiders’ 56-43 win over NorthWood.
  2. Penn (9-2): Cody Evans netted eight points in the Kingsmen’s 71-46 win over New Prairie.
  3. Goshen (10-1): Evan Timmons totaled nine points in the No. 8 (Class 4A) RedHawks’ 48-41 win over Elkhart Christian.
  4. Saint Joseph (9-4): Braylen White recorded 14 points in the defending Class 3A state champion Huskies’ 101-45 win over Washington.
  5. Riley (10-3): Tree Johnson canned 13 points in the Wildcats’ 60-37 win over Evansville Reitz.
  6. Wawasee (10-4): Jack Shoemaker accumulated 15 points in the Warriors’ 64-52 win over Mishawaka.
  7. Adams (10-2): Dion Taylor came up with three points in the Eagles’ 74-63 loss to Michigan City.

HONORABLE MENTION

Marian (8-4): Ryan McGuire ended with two points in the Knights’ 59-45 win over Elkhart.

MAKING WAVES

Concord (3-8): JJ Lee mustered two points as the Minutemen rallied for a 43-39 win at Plymouth.

Warsaw (6-7): Nash Wiggins tallied six points for the Tigers in their 49-41 overtime upset of No. 8 (Class 4A) and previously unbeaten Goshen.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Elkhart (5-6): Tre’Vaun Ulmer finished with nine points for the Lions against Marian.

Mishawaka (5-7): Landon Snyder racked up seven points as the Cavemen suffered their third consecutive setback with a 76-59 loss to LaPorte.

New Prairie (3-8): Eli McDonald’s three points were not enough against Penn as the Cougars dropped their fourth straight contest.

NorthWood (5-9): Caleb Vincent amassed 11 points for the Panthers against Northridge.

Plymouth (3-10): Grayson Terrone mustered eight points for the Pilgrims against Concord.

Washington (1-9): Rodney Milligan registered 17 points for the Panthers against Saint Joseph.

COMING ATTRACTIONS

Elkhart (5-6) at Michigan City (8-5) (Tuesday): The Lions are looking to halt a two-game losing streak, while Michigan City is going for its third straight win.

Marian (8-4) at Culver Academy (6-3) (Tuesday): The Knights have won the previous five meetings against Culver Academy.

Penn (9-2) at Northridge (11-1) (Tuesday): The Kingsmen have captured seven of the last 10 matchups with Northridge.

Marian (8-4) at Riley (10-3) (Friday): The Wildcats have claimed wins in three of the previous five games with Marian.

Penn (9-2) at Saint Joseph (9-4) (Friday): The Huskies will try and stop a four-game losing streak against Penn.
