Krehbiel & Tinsley nab 2024 Louisville Slugger/WilsonDI weekly honors
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Missouri State’s Olivia Krehbiel and UCLA’s Taylor Tinsley collected 2024 Division I Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player and Wilson/NFCA Pitcher of the Week honors for their outstanding performances last week (April 15-21).

Krehbiel hit .636 (7-for-11) with two doubles, two home runs, seven RBI and six runs scored over a four-game stretch last week. The senior third baseman broke both the Missouri State career home run record and career runs scored record, now owning 29 homers and 124 runs scored. Krehbiel delivered a walk-off RBI double in the series finale against Valparaiso. She also went 3-for-3 with six RBI, two homers and three runs in game one of the series. Krehbiel finished the week with 1.364 slugging and .692 on-base percentages.

Tinsley was the winning pitcher in all three contests of UCLA’s sweep of then-No. 5 Stanford at the Farm, lifting the Bruins into first place in the Pac-12 standings. She twirled a nine-inning masterpiece in the series opener in which she fanned 15, limited the Cardinal to five hits and did not issue a walk. Tinsley picked up the other two wins in relief with a combined 6.2 innings of two-hit shutout ball. The sophomore hurler finished the weekend 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA, 20 strikeouts, one walk and seven hits allowed.

The Division I Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player and Wilson/NFCA Pitcher of the Week are voted on by the NFCA Division I Top 25 Poll Committee.
