Late three boosts Holy Cross MBB past East-West University

Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team hosted East West University in a non-conference matchup today. The Saints jumped out to a quick lead to start the game and would control a 42-30 lead heading into halftime. The Phantoms battled back and took a 64-66 lead with 52 seconds remaining in the game. After a big defense by the Saints, Ryan Black drained a deep three with 0.7 seconds left on the clock. The Phantoms would not get a shot off, as the Saints would go on to win 66-64. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 2-1 overall.
