Lindenwood, UIndy Earn Weekly GLVC Football Honors

INDIANAPOLIS – Lindenwood University sophomore quarterback Cade Brister and junior defensive tackle Drew Harlow, along with University of Indianapolis redshirt sophomore kicker/punter Paul Buisman, have earned Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Team Result: 37-31 overtime win vs. Missouri S&T
Threw for 187 yards on 20-for-36 passing and ran for a career-high 143 yards on 15 attempts
Totaled five touchdowns on the day, including three passing and two rushing
Scored on a 37-yard run for the go-ahead touchdown in regulation
Threw a touchdown for the only score in overtime
Has been responsible for at least four scores in each of the last six games
Earns second-straight and third career Offensive Player of the Week award (10/7/19, 11/4/19)

Had a strip sack on the first S&T possession to set up a Lions’ touchdown
Broke up a pass at the line of scrimmage on the final drive of regulation
Registered an assisted tackle on third down in overtime, leading to a turnover on downs one play later
Earns his first career Defensive Player of the Week award
