Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s soccer team hosted the Knights of Marian University this afternoon in a non-conference matchup. Early in the match, Marin took a 1-0 lead with a goal coming in the 6th minute. The Knights would add to their lead with another goal in the 24th minutes and that goal would last for the remainder of the half, as the Saints would trail 2-0 entering halftime. Despite some very aggressive attacks offensively by both teams in the second half, neither team would find the back of the net. The Saints would fall 2-0. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at 2-3-1 while Marian moves to 3-0-2.
