My hopes of reaching the 80 percent plateau took a big hit ss I went 36-12 (75 percent) in the regional round. Heading into the final two weeks, my overall mark is now 329-95, which leaves me at 78 percent for the season.

CLASS 4A LAFAYETTE

Chesterton (28-0) vs. Kokomo (19-7) (3 p.m. EDT): Justin Sims’ 12 points lifted the top-ranked Trojans to a 59-48 win over No. 6 Penn. Flory Bidunga racked up 21 points and 12 rebounds in the Wildkats’ 64-60 win over Westfield. Matt’s pick: Chesterton 76, Kokomo 73.

CLASS 4A WASHINGTON

Indianapolis Cathedral (23-6) vs. Bloomington North (24-3) (3 p.m. EDT): Xavier Booker recorded 20 points for the No. 5 Fighting Irish in their 72-57 win over No. 5 Indianapolis Ben Davis. JaQualon Roberts added 18 points in the Panthers’ 75-69 win over Franklin. Matt’s pick: Cathedral 63, Bloomington North 59.

CLASS 3A ELKHART

Marian (23-3) vs. Leo (21-5) (6 p.m. EDT): Richard Brooks accounted for 22 points in the No.2 Knights’ 39-38 win over Culver Academy. Caedmon Bontrager registered 16 points and 10 rebounds in the No. 8 Lions’ 56-43 win over No. 3 NorthWood. Matt’s pick: Marian 55, Leo 51.

CLASS 3A WASHINGTON

Beech Grove (20-6) vs. Sullivan (25-2) (1 p.m. EDT): Jaleel Edwards accounted for 18 points in the Hornets’ 66-50 win over Danville. Randy Kelley finished with 25 points in the No. 4 Golden Arrows’ 89-85 win over Evansville Bosse. Matt’s pick: Beech Grove 58, Sullivan 54.

Central Noble (27-2) vs. Carroll (Flora (24-1) (4 p.m. EDT): Connor Essegian poured in 31 points in the No. 3 Cougars’ 57-53 overtime win over No. 4 Fort Wayne Blackhawk. Chris Huerta tallied 15 points in the No. 6 Cougars’ 44-23 win over No. 1 Monroe Central. Matt’s pick: Central Noble 72, Carroll (Flora) 64.

CLASS 2A SEYMOUR

Eastern Hancock (22-5) vs. Providence (19-6) (6 p.m. EDT): Jacob Spaulding ended with 17 points in the No. 9 Royals’ 54-47 win over University. Casey Kaelin pumped in 26 points in the Pioneers’ 44-37 win over Forest Park. Matt’s pick: Providence 49, Eastern Hancock 47.

CLASS 1A LAFAYETTE

Gary 21st Century (23-4) vs. Lafayette Central Catholic (19-9) (1 p.m. EDT): The Knights claimed a 77-59 win over top-ranked Gary 21st Century in the 2017 semistate. D.J. Moss mustered 14 points in the Cougars’ 56-47 win over Triton. Clark Obermiller’s career-high 25 points helped Lafayette Central Catholic to a 64-45 win over Liberty Christian.
