GOSHEN, Ind. — The Goshen College athletic department and head women’s volleyball coach Kourtney Crawford closed out the week by announcing the addition of another pair of Indiana natives, Felicity Elkin and Christina Towne, on Friday.

Evansville Reitz HS / Wabash Valley College
Elkin, an all-city and all-metro pick at F.J. Reitz High School, joins the Maple Leafs after two seasons at Wabash Valley College in Mount Carmel, Illinois.
“We are thrilled to have Felicity at Goshen,” said Crawford. “She brings a lot of experience and drive to our program. Felicity has the ability to adjust on the fly. She sees the court well and has a lot of control with her hitting, which will be extremely helpful due to her being undersized.”
“I chose Goshen because the coaches seemed like a great fit for me, and the campus was pretty nice,” said Elkin.
Felicity is the daughter of Raquel Pickard and Jim Elkin and the sister of Savanah, Abby, Kassidy, Brilynn, Ellasyn, Lilly and Kenski. She plans to study business.
Christina Towne
Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist
Rochester, Indiana
Rochester High School
Towne played for coach Erin Leap at Rochester High School, herding the Zebras to three sectional championships in her four seasons. She was the 2018 team MVP and was all-Three Rivers Conference, a Rochester Sentinel all-area pick, and a team captain. She also helped RHS to a 2016 regional title and was on the honor roll.
“Christina is a natural athlete and she knows the game well,” Crawford said. “She finds ways to be successful despite being an undersized hitter. Christina has a high ceiling and her willingness to succeed and work hard will make her a tough competitor!”
“I chose Goshen College because of the campus life, all it has to offer and the fact that it’s close to home!,” Towne said.
Towne is the daughter of Don and Mary Kay Towne and a sister to Kyle, Ann, Hannah and Micah. She plans to study business.
