Michigan and USC Secure Big Ten Weekly Women’s Basketball Honors

Wolverines’ Olson and Trojans’ Davidson earn weekly awards

 

Player of the Week

Olivia Olson, Michigan

So. – New Hope, Minn. – Benilde St. Margaret’s

  • Turned in 21 points, eight rebounds, a career-high seven assists and two steals in 31 minutes at Northwestern
  • Dropped 23 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks in a win over No. 13 Michigan State
  • Claims her first Big Ten Player of the Week recognition

Oluchi Okananwa, MD: Led the Terps to a comeback upset of No. 8 Ohio State behind 17 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals

Kiyomi McMiller, PSU: Averaged 31.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 3.0 assists during the Lady Lions’ 1-1 week

Lauren Betts, UCLA: Combined for 19.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in a pair of Bruin victories
