Minnesota and Ohio State Standouts Honored as Three Stars

Ohio State’s Jobst earns first star after registering a nation-leading seven points last weekend

 

First Star

Mason Jobst, Ohio State

F – Sr. – Speedway, Ind.

 

  • Led the nation with seven points last weekend, helping the Buckeyes to a 1-0-1 weekend at Michigan State
  • His second point Saturday was his 150th point as a Buckeye, making him the first Ohio State skater with 150+ points since 1991 and the 20th NCAA D1 men’s player with 150+ points since the start of the 2013-14 campaign
  • Recorded a goal, three assists and four points with a +3 rating on Friday, before registering three points on a goal and two helpers, with a +2 mark on Saturday
  • The two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree claims his sixth career weekly award and his first since Oct. 10, 2017 (First Star)
