MU, USF pick up Midwest League honors
After picking up two of the three wins for the Midwest League on Saturday, No. 23 Marian and No. 24 Saint Francis (Ind.) claim the second round of MSFA Midwest League Players of the Week honors.

Offensive Player of the Week
Keagan La Belle, Marian
Sr., RB, McCordsville, Ind. (Mt. Vernon Fortville)
• Led the No. 23 Knights to a 35-21 win at Lawrence Tech with a three-TD performance
• Ran 29 times for 187 yards in the win over the Blue Devils
• Wins his first MSFA Player of the Week award this season, and the third of his career
Defensive Player of the Week
Nate Johnson, Saint Francis (Ind.)
Fr., DT, Frankton, Ind. (Center Grove)
• Made nine tackles as the No. 24 Cougars defeated Siena Heights, 21-20
• Finished with 1.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss with a fumble recovery
• Earns his first career MSFA Player of the Week award
Special Teams Player of the Week
Kenny Curry, Marian
So., K, Mooresville, Ind. (Mooresville)
• Was a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points in Marian’s 35-21 win at Lawrence Tech
• Averaged 55.5 yards per kickoff on the day
• Earns his first career MSFA Player of the Week award, and the second of his career
