Spring Arbor was down 39-37 with 1:23 left in the first half, but Phillips had the final word with a two before the buzzer, going into halftime up 41-37.

Newhof completed the three-point play at 19:04, followed by Dante Favor making two free throws at 18:12 to give SAU their first lead since the first bucket of the game at 19:19.
