The Pilots battled late in the first set with an ace from Ben Ritzema at 20-16, and Erik Malek, along with a Graywolf attack error, brought the Pilots within one point behind, but Lourdes went on a 4-0 run to close set one 25-20.

After a dominant Lourdes second set 25-15, Bethel went on a 4-0 run to reach 24-21 but fell 25-21 in set three and lost in straight sets.
