Mishawaka, Ind. – The Bethel College Pilots men’s basketball team dropped their third consecutive game on Tuesday evening to the Huntington Foresters, snapping their Crossroads League-leading streak of 134 games without three straight losses.

  • The Pilots lost their third straight game for the first time since Jan. 8-14, 2014, snapping their Crossroads League-leading streak of 134 consecutive games without three straight losses. Incidentally, both losing streaks were punctuated by a Forester win in Mishawaka.
  • The Pilots outscored the Foresters 38-14 in the paint, but were outscored from the three-point line 45-6.
  • Gage Ott scored a career-high 36 points on 14-19 from the field.
  • The Foresters grabbed their first lead of the game at 7:35 left in the first half, 29-26. The Pilots closed the first half on a 4-0 run to take a 49-47 lead into halftime. The Foresters opened the second half on a 20-8 run to retake the lead for good.

  • The Pilots hit the road on Saturday to take on No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan in Marion at 3pm, the second game in a men’s and women’s double header. The Wildcats defeated the Pilots 91-70 in the Gates Gymnasium earlier this season on January 6.
