No.22 IUSB WBB roll past Trinity Christian 104-60

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (9-0, 3-0 CCAC) defeated the Trinity Christian College Trolls (0-8, 0-3 CCAC) by a final score of 104-60. Saturday’s win improves the Titans to 9-0, leaving them one game short of tying the school record for consecutive wins to start a season.

The IU South Bend offense featured all five starters scoring double figures, led by Jazmen Watts who finished with a game high 22 points.

Watts’ 22 points came on better than 50% shooting while knocking down two of the four three point field goals that she attempted. At better than 43%, Watts is second on the team in three point shooting percentage.

The next Titan to score in double figures was guard Katie Gard who finished with 19 points.

Gard’s 19 points came on 50% shooting from the field while knocking down five of the eight three point field goals that she attempted.

Junior Tenleigh Phelps finished with 16 points on 6-9 shooting from the field in just 21 minutes of action.

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, December 9th, when they host the Fighting Saints of Saint Francis at 1:00 PM in the Student Activities Center.
