No. 5 Indiana To Honor Four On Senior Day Against No. 22 Iowa

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – No. 5 Indiana will honor four players in its regular season home finale on Saturday when it hosts No. 22/25 Iowa. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. ET.

• Indiana will honor four players as part of Senior Day festivities on Saturday – Grace Waggoner, Nicole Cardaño-Hillary, Aleksa Gulbe and Ali Patberg will all be honored postgame. Waggoner will conclude her career a season early to pursue her MBA in the Kelley School of Business while the remaining three exhaust their eligibilities this season.
• The Hoosiers are coming off a 69-58 win over Northwestern at home on Thursday. Gulbe led the way with her third double-double of the season with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
• On the heels of its 20th win of the season, Indiana needs one more victory to notch its 11th 20-win season in school history. It would be the seventh-straight season with 20 wins or more, the longest streak in program history.
• Head coach Teri Moren has been named one of 15 coaches to the Werner Ladder Naismith Women’s Coach of the Year 2022 Late Season Watch List. In her eighth season at the helm, the Seymour, Ind. native has led Indiana to a 18-4 record and 10-2 Big Ten mark in 2021-22. Indiana has notch three Top 25 wins this season and are No. 17 in the NET rankings.
• Moren became the second coach in program history to reach 100 wins at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall with the win over Northwestern on Thursday night. In her eighth season at IU, she is the program’s second all-time winningest coach with 167 overall wins.
• Indiana has three players up for national awards that fans can vote on. Grace Berger and Mackenzie Holmes are you for positional awards from the Basketball Hall of Fame and WBCA, Cheryl Miller and Lisa Leslie Awards, respectively.
