Lancers rally to win Top-25 showdown WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Facing its first ranked test of the new season, Grace’s young men’s basketball team passed with flying colors. The No. 7 Lancers (2-0) erased a sluggish first half with an impressive 96-81 win over No. 19 Morningside on Friday. The game was the opener of the Crossroads/GPAC Challenge. The final games will be played at Huntington on Saturday. Grace will take on Briar Cliff on Saturday at 1 p.m. Grace trailed by as many as 17 in the opening half, but the Lancers outscored the Mustangs by 17 after halftime to win by 15. SOUTH BEND --- IU South Bend men's basketball hit the court running on Thursday night, opening the 2025-26 campaign with a dandy. The Titans posted a convincing 105-63 win on their home floor, taking down Wright State Lake.The offense was clicking from the jump, as IUSB impacted the scoreboard early and often. The big move came halfway through the first half with an 11-0 run for the host squad. IU South Bend turned a 29-24 lead into a 40-24 advantage and never looked back.At the halftime break, the Titans led by 23 at 55-32 and only continued the push in the second half.
