In Lawrence North’s 63-48 win over Warren Central, the two clubs combined for more than 1,100 total yards of offense. Gage Sturgill’s two-point conversion run in overtime lifted Fishers to a 36-35 win over Franklin Central. The two teams accounted for almost 900 total yards. Holy Cross Men’s Soccer Shuts Out Governors State to Stay Undefeated in Conference Play

CROWN POINT, Ind. — The Holy Cross College men's soccer team continued their dominant conference run with a 3-0 victory over Governors State on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Saints improve to 7-4-0 overall and 4-0-0 in CCAC play, remaining undefeated in conference action. After a scoreless first half, the Saints came out of the break with renewed energy and precision. Daniel Alfaro opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, finishing a setup from Diego Blount and Nathan Sanchez. Bethel Women’s Volleyball Falls to No. 13 Mount Vernon

MISHAWAKA, Ind.---The Bethel Pilots (14-9, 6-4) fell to the No. 13 Mount Vernon Nazarene University Cougars (17-5, 8-2) on Wednesday evening in the Gates Gymnasium.  Breyana Bosket led the team in kills (nine).  Paige Franz led the team in service aces (three) and digs (18).  Despite a strong first and third set showing, the Pilots most struggled in set two, which resulted in a 25-16 loss.  In the beginning of the second set, Sophia Beeson scored a kill as the Pilots were up 9-7.  Mount Vernon answered with a five-point run which Bethel could not recover from.  Head Coach Erica Dregits shared, "That's a tough loss...

“Slicer Baseball, A Cut Above” is a 248 page hardcover book, similar in size to a high school yearbook, written about the history of La Porte Slicer Baseball. This book chronicles the history of Slicer baseball from 1919 to the present time.
