  • The No. 14-ranked Purdue men’s basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 72-50 win over Northern Kentucky on Friday in Mackey Arena. The Boilermakers are now 2-0 for the fourth straight season and the 16th time in Matt Painter’s 20 seasons at Purdue.
  • The win was Purdue’s 28th straight home, non-conference victory, setting a new school record.
  • Purdue has won 24 straight games in the month of November.
  • Purdue has won 37 straight regular-season, non-conference games, now tied for the fifth-longest streak in NCAA history. Its last loss came on Dec. 8, 2020, vs. Miami, Florida.
  • Purdue has won 19 straight home games, tied for the fourth-longest streak in Mackey Arena history.
  • Purdue improved to 41-3 all-time against current members of the Horizon League, having won 19 straight games against the league.
  • Purdue is now 94-19 since the start the 2021-22 season.
