Saint Francis Forward Karson Rogers Earns NAIA Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
After being named the Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has recognized sophomore forward Karson Rogers as the Gared Performance Sports Systems NAIA Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After being named the Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has recognized sophomore forward Karson Rogers as the Gared Performance Sports Systems NAIA Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.

Across three games between Dec. 8 and Jan. 4, Rogers secured a total of 43 boards (30 defensive) and eight steals. His biggest defensive game was against IU Northwest, where he grabbed 18 total rebounds and four steals. He also played a big part on the other end of the floor, scoring a total of 58 points.

The honor marks Rogers’ first national award of the season.
