Santa & the Saints Toys for Tots Benefit

Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College athletic department hosted the Santa and the Saints event on Wednesday, December 6. The event took place in the Pfeil Center during the women’s basketball home game vs Grace College.

Guests who attended received admission to the game with an unwrapped toy. Monetary donations were also accepted at the door. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball program hosted cookie decorating, hot chocolate, raffles, and crafts for the kids. All proceeds raised were used to purchase toys for the U.S Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign.

The Holy Cross College athletics department delivered the donated toys to the United States Marine Corps. In all, the Saints were able to fill four large boxes of unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots campaign.

Together, with faculty, staff, students, and the community, Holy Cross College assisted the U.S. Marine Corps in their endeavors to help put smiles on the faces of less fortunate children during the Christmas season.  All toys and gifts donated at the Holy Cross College location will be provided to children in the Michiana community. Thank you to all those who made this event possible.
