OKLAHOMA CITY—The Fire women’s golf team fell one spot in the team rankings, despite being just three shots off of Wednesday’s school-record score.
Through 54 holes, the Fire have a team score of 925. British Columbia is the overall leader at 884, with Sun Conference squads Keiser and SCAD Savannah five and 14 shots back, respectively.
Individually, Ana Uribe posted her best score of the week with a one-over 73, playing the Front 9 at even par after teeing off on the back to start her day. The junior is currently tied for 48th.
Ashlynn Joyner is currently tied for 33rd with a six-over 78 in the third round. She was responsible for three of the team’s nine birdies on the day.
Brianna Farrell turned in her best round of the week with a four-over 76, playing the Front 9 at one-over. Brooke Wetzel posted a score of 79 in the third round, posting a three-over 38 on the Back 9.
Valentina Espinosa rounded out the lineup with a score of 80.
The Fire will begin their final round at Lincoln Park Golf Club on Hole 10 at 8:22 Friday morning.
