SEU’s Kee Named Sun Division Defensive Player of the Week

COLUMBIA, Ky.—In his final game with the Fire, senior defensive back Tyson Kee put together a two-interception night to help Southeastern defeat Faulkner.

Kee was at the top of the tackle chart with 10, and had a pair of interceptions in a 31-26 win over Faulkner on Thursday night. His second interception was on Faulkner’s final possession that secured the win.

Southeastern’s defense limited the Eagles to just 11 first downs and 225 total yards, helping the Fire win a share of the Sun Division for the fourth consecutive season.

The Pace, Fla. native finished his final season with 63 tackles to finish second on the team. He is one of just two players in program history to record over 200 career tackles.
