ON THE LOOSE (Top running performances)

South Putnam’s Ty Benton exploded for a program-best 326 yards and six touchdowns on 32 carries in the Eagles’ 60-19 win over Sheridan.

Merrillville’s JQ Johnson recorded 27 rushes for 270 yards with two touchdowns in the Pirates’ 48-14 win over Valparaiso.

D’Marco Wilson of Indianapolis Lutheran raced 24 times for 249 yards with a score and hauled in three passes for 33 yards in the Saints’ 35-0 win over Lapel.

Martinsville’s Lucas Dewey tallied 33 carries for 239 yards with a touchdown and caught a 22-yard pass for another tally in the Artesians’ 35-28 win over Evansville Reitz.

Larry Ellison of Crown Point scampered 30 times for 220 yards with three touchdowns and hauled in five passes for 41 yards in the Bulldogs’ 38-21 win over Carroll (Fort Wayne).

Westfield’s Deacon King came up with 33 carries for 220 yards with a score and caught a 28-yard touchdown pass in the Shamrocks’ 42-28 victory against Fishers.

Batesville’s Gage Pohlman ran 27 times for 201 yards with a touchdown in the Bulldogs’ 41-37 win over Tri-West.

Braylen Townsend of Bloomington South scampered 34 times for 179 yards with two touchdowns in the Panthers’ 28-21 win over Castle.

Javier McCoy of Andrean accumulated 32 rushes for 176 yards with three touchdowns in the 59ers’ 20-17 win over Lafayette Central Catholic.

North Judson’s Kole Wilcox rambled 11 times for 154 yards with six touchdowns and caught a 29-yard pass for another score in the Bluejays’ 70-6 win at Taylor.

East Central’s Ryan Minges finished with 29 carries for 151 yards with a score in the Trojans’ 21-16 loss to Decatur Central.

Daryea Williams of Fort Wayne Bishop Luers tallied 20 rushes for 135 yards with a touchdown and registered a 14-yard reception in the Knights’ 31-28 win over Maconaquah.

Matt Heiser of Adams Central came up with 17 carries for 132 yards with two scores and recovered a fumble in the Flying Jets’ 42-7 win over Eastern (Greentown).

East Noble’s Dylan Krehl scampered 21 times for 131 yards with two touchdowns in the Knights’ 52-17 win over Huntington North.

Brownsburg’s Iosua Stephens had 13 carries for 130 yards with two scores, ran for a two-point conversion, and completed 2-of-4 for 24 yards in the Bulldogs’ 22-21 win against Lawrence North.

Evansville Reitz’s Landon McClarney finished with 18 rushes for 129 yards with two touchdowns for the Panthers against Martinsville.

Josh Ranes of New Palestine raced 18 times for 122 yards with two scores in the Dragons’ 28-21 overtime win over Indianapolis Bishop Chatard.

South Adams’ Will Patterson tallied 10 carries for 115 yards with two touchdowns and caught two passes for 28 yards in the Starfires’ 40-21 win over North Miami.

Merrillville’s Cameron Jordan ended with 10 rushes for 111 yards with two touchdowns against Valparaiso.

Thomas Burda of Valparaiso tallied 109 yards on the ground for the Vikings against Merrillville.

Brock Benson of North Judson ran 12 times for 104 yards against Taylor.

Knox’s Jake Conroy finished with 24 carries for 102 yards with a score and caught a 28-yard touchdown pass in the Redskins’ 41-40 loss against Garrett.

Mishawaka’s Landon Snyder had 18 rushes for 102 yards with two touchdowns in the Cavemen’s 21-7 win over New Prairie.

PASSING GRADES (Top quarterback performances)

Tri-West Jack Sorgi was 21-of-31 for 410 yards with four touchdowns for the Bruins against Batesville.

Keyan Crowder of Lafayette Jeff went 31-of-38 for 409 yards with three scores and ran five times for 17 yards in the Bronchos’ 44-27 loss to Warsaw.

Warsaw’s Drew Sullivan ran 32 times for 311 yards with a touchdown and threw a 25-yard pass for another score for the Tigers against Lafayette Jeff.

Jimmy Sullivan of Carroll (Fort Wayne) went 19-of-34 for 284 yards with three touchdowns and ran five times for 12 yards for the Chargers against Crown Point.

South Adams’ Tytus Lehman completed 21-of-31 for 282 yards with three touchdowns and ran nine times for 36 yards against North Miami.

Lawrence North’s Tanner Aspeslet was 19-of-25 for 277 yards with a score and carried the ball eight times for 25 yards for the Wildcats against Brownsburg.

Myles McLaughlin of Knox ran 34 times for 269 yards with three scores and went 3-of-5 for 71 yards with two touchdowns against Garrett.

Linton-Stockton’s Braylon McBride completed 13-of-23 for 263 yards with three touchdowns and ran nine times for 27 yards in the Miners’ 22-21 win against Brownstown Central.

Duncan Combs of Bloomington South went 22-of-26 for 250 yards with two touchdowns and carried the ball seven times for 17 yards against Castle.

Fishers’ Caden Hill completed 21-of-27 for 249 yards with a touchdown and added a five-yard score on the ground for the Tigers against Westfield.

Calder Hefty of Garrett was 6-of-9 for 222 yards with two scores and ran 11 times for 87 yards with three touchdowns for the Railroaders against Knox.

Castle’s Boden Morgan completed 10-of-16 for 204 yards with two scores for the Knights against Bloomington South.

Indianapolis Lutheran’s Mason Shrum was 13-of-17 for 201 yards with three touchdowns against Lapel.

Wyatt Marsh of Milan went 21-of-27 for 200 yards with a touchdown and carried the ball nine times for 37 yards in the Indians’ 28-10 loss to Providence.

Ben Davies of Evansville Reitz was 16-of-21 for 194 yards with a touchdown and ran twice for 17 yards against Martinsville.

Providence’s Preston Kempf ran 14 times for 182 yards with two scores and completed 3-of-5 for 104 yards with two touchdowns for the Pioneers against Milan.

Decatur Central’s Bo Polston went 9-of-20 for 178 yards with a touchdown for the Hawks against East Central.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers’ Jayce White went 5-of-11 for 138 yards against Maconaquah.

Martinsville’s A.J. Reynolds went 12-of-18 for 113 yards with two touchdowns and ran nine times for 36 yards with two scores against Evansville Reitz.

Jacob Davis of New Palestine ran 19 times for 108 yards with a score and completed 10-of-12 for 80 yards with a touchdown against Bishop Chatard.

Heritage Hills’ Jett Goldsberry was 3-of-5 for 96 yards with two touchdowns and ran 67 yards for another tally in the Patriots’ 50-7 win over North Harrison.

WHAT A CATCH (Top receiving performances)

Jaidon VanPelt of Carroll (Fort Wayne) came up with nine catches for 185 yards with three touchdowns against Crown Point.

Lafayette Jeff’s Andre Fancher caught 13 passes for 182 yards with two scores against Warsaw.

Logan Anderson of Tri-West recorded seven receptions for 159 yards with two touchdowns against Batesville.

Lafayette Jeff’s Omar Williams hauled in nine passes for 152 yards with a score against Warsaw.

Fuddy Kiles of Maconaquah had seven receptions for 137 yards with two scores against Bishop Luers.

Carter Bode of Castle caught four passes for 133 yards with a touchdown against Bloomington South.

Tri-West’s Jax Garver managed five catches for 131 yards against Batesville.

Linton-Stockton’s Paul Oliver hauled in nine passes for 127 yards with a score against Brownstown Central.

Davion Chandler of Lawrence North had seven receptions for 120 yards with a touchdown against Brownsburg.

Fishers’ JonAnthony Hall hauled in eight passes for 115 yards against Westfield.

Providence’s Nick Stoner finished with three catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns against Milan.

Decatur Central’s Fa’Rel Carter caught three passes for 104 yards with two scores and ran six times for 43 yards against East Central.

Connor Parker of Bloomington South registered nine catches for 103 yards against Castle.

Bloomington South’s Sam Giles ended with seven receptions for 100 yards with a touchdown against Castle.

SPECIAL PERFORMERS (Top overall offensive, defensive, and special teams’ performances)

In addition to catching five passes for 97 yards with a pair of touchdowns, Hudson Mills of Indianapolis Lutheran also recorded nine tackles and returned an interception 64 yards for another score against Lapel.

Along with running nine times for 133 yards with a touchdown, North Judson’s Jesiah McDaniel threw a 29-yard pass for a score and intercepted three passes against Taylor.
