ON THE LOOSE (Top running performances)

Knox’s Myles McLaughlin rambled 53 times for 372 yards with four touchdowns and added nine tackles and an interception in the Redskins’ 28-21 win over Angola.

Keyon Thomas of Warren Central tallied 25 rushes for 242 yards with a touchdown and seven catches for 65 yards in the Warriors’ 24-21 win over Center Grove.

Adams Central’s Vance Miller romped for 191 yards with two touchdowns in the defending Class 2A state champion Flying Jets’ 42-28 win over Eastbrook.

Shiloh Rine of Pioneer tallied 18 carries for 184 yards with two scores in the Panthers’ 34-14 win over LaVille.

Eastbrook’s Bodie Howell finished with 31 rushes for 176 yards with three scores and went 4-of-7 for 15 yards for the Panthers against Adams Central.

Brownsburg’s Aiden Jobe scampered 24 times for 173 yards with four touchdowns and caught three passes for 14 yards in the defending Class 6A state champion Bulldogs’ 47-23 win over defending Class 5A state champion Decatur Central.

Caiden Jacobia of New Palestine had 22 touches for 160 yards with two touchdowns in the defending Class 4A state champion Dragons’ 20-6 win over East Central.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers’ Brandon Gaither exploded for 22 carries for 160 yards with a score in the Knights’ 14-7 win over Twin Lakes.

Toby Savini of Cascade rambled 13 times for 152 yards with three touchdowns and caught a 12-yard pass in the Cadets’ 37-33 win over Lawrenceburg.

North Miami’s Lake Musall closed with 20 rushes for 142 yards with a touchdown in the Warriors’ 25-22 loss to South Adams.

Lafayette Jeff’s Tarvaris Fernandez carried the ball 25 times for 141 yards with three scores and caught four passes for 79 yards in the Bronchos’ 47-45 loss to Concord.

Phillip McFatridge of Pioneer raced 21 times for 140 yards with a touchdown against LaVille.

South Putnam’s Ty Benton carried the ball 24 times for 139 yards with a score in the Eagles’ 26-6 win over Sheridan.

Noah Vanmeter of Pioneer ended with 30 rushes for 139 yards with two scores against LaVille.

Martinsville’s Lucas Dewey raced 28 times for 132 yards in the Artesians’ 35-19 loss to defending Class 3A state champion Heritage Hills.

Milan’s Wyatt Marsh tallied 18 carries for 125 yards with two touchdowns and was 1-of-3 for 15 yards in the Indians’ 22-7 win over defending Class 1A state champion Providence.

Cameron Jordan of Merrillville accounted for 12 carries for 124 yards with two scores and four catches for 42 yards with another touchdown in the Pirates’ 34-14 win over Michigan City.

Floyd Central’s Sebastian Robertson closed with 23 carries for 117 yards in the Highlanders’ 55-7 loss against Bloomington South.

Zach Dozier of Indianapolis Roncalli had 12 carries for 112 yards and four receptions for the Royals in their 31-27 win over Yorktown.

East Central’s Colton Bellman ended with 26 rushes for 109 yards and two catches for seven yards for the Trojans against New Palestine.

Braylen Townsend of Bloomington South scampered 13 times for 104 yards with a score and one catch for two yards for the Panthers against Floyd Central.

Decatur Central’s Braylon Morris contributed seven rushes for 104 yards with a touchdown for the Hawks against Brownsburg.

Ryder Gipson of Eastbrook rambled 20 times for 92 yards with a score and caught two passes for five yards against Adams Central.

Westfield’s Aiden Grabowski ran 14 times for 91 times with a score and completed 1-of-4 for 20 yards in the Shamrocks’ 20-10 win over Fishers.

PASSING GRADES (Top quarterback performances)

Lafayette Jeff’s Trysten Barrett finished 27-of-39 for 525 yards with three touchdowns against Concord.

Carroll’s (Fort Wayne) Gabe Frisinger was 21-of-34 for 424 yards with two touchdowns and ran 24 times for 102 yards with another score in the Chargers’ 41-30 win at Penn.

Devin Craig of Lapel completed 17-of-25 for 347 yards with three touchdowns and raced twice for seven yards in the Bulldogs’ 38-7 win over Indianapolis Lutheran.

South Adams’ Tytus Lehman was 16-of-26 for 322 yards with three scores and ran six times for 13 yards for the Starfires against North Miami.

Bo Brunner of Concord went 22-of-37 for 300 yards with a score and carried the ball 16 times for 160 yards with two touchdowns for the Minutemen against Lafayette Jeff.

Penn’s Landon Hall completed 15-of-32 for 294 yards with two scores for the Kingsmen against Carroll (Fort Wayne).

Sam Tokar of Yorktown went 20-of-30 for 292 yards with three scores for the Tigers against Roncalli.

Martinsville’s Chase Davis was 20-of-31 for 260 yards with three touchdowns against Heritage Hills.

Chris Hill of Lebanon finished 19-of-35 for 239 yards with three touchdowns and carried the ball 16 times for 44 yards in the Tigers’ 39-27 loss to Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger.

Roncalli’s Collin Ash was 11-of-16 for 216 yards with a score and ran 15 times for 53 yards with two touchdowns against Yorktown.

Nikolas Fondrisi of Providence completed 12-of-38 for 192 yards with a touchdown for the Pioneers against Milan.

Center Grove’s Oscar Sloan finished 9-of-24 for 191 yards with a touchdown for the Trojans against Warren Central.

Jack Mull of Floyd Central was 18-of-35 for 191 yards with a score against Bloomington South.

Heritage Hills’ Jett Goldsberry scampered 23 times for 183 yards with three touchdowns and went 6-of-11 for 131 yards with another score for the Patriots against Martinsville.

Paul Oliver of Linton-Stockton completed 11-of-26 for 176 yards with a touchdown and carried the ball 17 times for 56 yards with two more scores in the Miners’ 43-18 loss to Brownstown Central.

Henry Jordan of Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger finished 18-of-23 for 175 yards with two scores and raced eight times for 38 yards with two more touchdowns for the Saints against Lebanon.

Bloomington South’s Duncan Combs went 10-of-14 for 174 yards with two touchdowns and ran for another tally against Bloomington South.

Jack Quillen of Warren Central completed 18-of-28 for 170 yards with two touchdowns and raced three times for 16 yards against Center Grove.

LaVille’s Brayden Schwitz went 12-of-26 for 167 yards with two touchdowns and carried the ball five times for 26 yards for the Lancers against Pioneer.

Brady Revis of Angola was 14-of-26 for 159 yards with a score for the Hornets against Knox.

Cascade’s Brady Trebley finished 6-of-10 for 151 yards with three touchdowns and ran eight times for 33 yards against Lawrenceburg.

Fishers’ Gage Sturgill was 11-of-23 for 129 yards with a score and raced 18 times for 54 yards for the Tigers against Westfield.

Cooper Dold of Twin Lakes went 8-of-17 for 125 yards and ran eight times for 43 yards for the Indians against Bishop Luers.

Andrean’s Brady Elish completed 7-of-8 for 123 yards with a touchdown and carried the ball nine times for 64 yards with another score for the 59ers against Southmont.

Michael Hill of Merrillville finished 18-of-25 for 117 yards and two scores and had 10 rushes for 48 yards against Michigan City.

Lawrenceburg’s Crue Gilmour ran 13 times for 115 yards with three touchdowns and completed 6-of-7 for 102 yards with a fourth score for the Tigers against Cascade.

Bo Polston of Decatur Central was 11-of-16 for 114 yards with a touchdown and ran 10 times for 37 yards with another tally against Brownsburg.

Brownsburg’s Oscar Frye completed 13-of-19 for 113 yards with a touchdown and carried the ball five times for 29 yards with another score against Decatur Central.

Dylan Gore of Andrean went 11-of-15 for 111 yards against Southmont.

Brownstown Central’s Micah Shaffer was 3-of-13 for 107 yards with two scores and raced 16 times for 104 yards with a third score for the Braves against Linton-Stockton.

Jamison Roach of Adams Central finished 5-of-10 for 98 yards with two touchdowns and carried the ball 12 times for 60 yards with two more tallies against Eastbrook.

Before leaving with a season-ending leg injury, Gibson Southern’s Zach Foster completed 9-of-13 for 72 yards with a touchdown and ran nine times for 70 yards with two scores for the Titans in their 42-14 win against Indian Creek.

Bryce Vanostran of Lafayette Jeff recorded 13 receptions for 281 yards with three scores against Concord.

Carroll’s (Fort Wayne) Jaidon VanPelt hauled in nine passes for 197 yards with a touchdown and completed a 13-yard pass against Penn.

Buddy Hurley of Penn ended with six catches for 189 yards with two scores against Carroll (Fort Wayne).

Andrean’s Tyler Vo caught 11 passes for 155 yards with a touchdown against Southmont.

Landon Cazee of Martinsville had 12 catches for 153 yards with two scores against Heritage Hills.

Concord’s Derek Gomez registered seven receptions for 140 yards with a touchdown and ran 12 times for 66 yards with another score against Lafayette Jeff.

Micah Toler of Heritage Hills came up with six catches for 131 yards with a score against Martinsville.

Carroll’s (Fort Wayne) Harrison Scheele caught six passes for 130 yards with a touchdown against Penn.

Brayden Parsley of Lapel recorded four receptions for 129 yards with a score against Lutheran.

Lebanon’s Tannon Monden hauled in eight passes for 129 yards with three touchdowns against Bishop Dwenger.

Derek McKean of South Adams managed six catches for 120 yards with two touchdowns against North Miami.

South Adams’ Wesley Summersett caught four passes for 118 and ran for a one-yard touchdown against North Miami.

Alex Jarvis of Roncalli had three receptions for 116 yards with a touchdown and carried the ball 17 times for 85 yards with another score against Yorktown.

Linton-Stockton’s Oliver Stephens came up with six receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown against Brownstown Central.

Cole Stafford of LaVille finished with six catches for 104 yards with two scores and eight carries for 46 yards against Pioneer.

Floyd Central’s Luke Jacobi totaled eight receptions for 101 yards with a score against Bloomington South.

SPECIAL PERFORMERS (Top overall offensive, defensive, and special teams’ performances)

Concord’s Nathan Potter drilled a 48-yard field goal as time expired against Lafayette Jeff.

In addition to catching a 22-yard touchdown pass, James Criniti of South Bend Saint Joseph also came up with an interception in the Huskies’ 10-7 win over Hobart.

Bloomington South’s Sam Giles returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown against Floyd Central.

Along with catching three passes for 57 yards with a touchdown, Zaire McKinney of Michigan City also had a 98-yard kickoff return for a score for the Wolves against Merrillville.

In addition to having four receptions for 34 yards, Indian Creeks Jaxon Ramey also returned a kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown for the Braves against Gibson Southern.

Gabe Taylor of Bloomington South had a 98-yard interception return for a score along with a fumble recovery against Floyd Central.
