Three Named to Google Cloud Men’s At-Large Academic All-District

LAKELAND, Fla.—Three male student-athletes from Southeastern University were named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors’ Association.
Junior wrestlers Ethan Owen and Dylan Chatterton along with tennis junior Felipe Barbosa were among the 15 student-athletes in NAIA District 1.
To be eligible for nomination, a student-athlete must be a sophomore that has completed two semesters at their institution, be a starter or key reserve on their team, and hold a grade point average of 3.3 or better on a 4.0 scale.
Owen, a two-time NAIA All-American, carries a 3.67 GPA as an Elementary Education major.
Chatterton received NAIA All-America honors as a sophomore and has a 3.91 grade point average as a Finance major. Among the 15 All-District selections, Chatterton holds the third-highest GPA.
Barbosa was an All-Sun Conference honoree, Academic All-Sun Conference, and was the league’s Champion of Character Award winner. Barbosa holds a 3.57 GPA as an International Business and Finance major.
All three are now eligible for Academic All-American honors, announced in June.
