SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (24-0, 16-0 CCAC) defeated the Saint Ambrose University Fighting Bees (6-15, 6-10 CCAC) by a final score of 81-44.

Saturday’s win improves the Titans winning streak to 24 consecutive games to begin the season and keeps them three games ahead of second place Governors State.

IU South Bend outscored the Fighting Bees in all four quarters and held Saint Ambrose to just five points in the fourth quarter to become victorious.

Less than one minute into the second quarter, fifth year guard Maddie Gard sunk a jump shot to make her the all-time leading scorer in Indiana University South Bend history for both the women and the men’s program.

With 1,798 points and counting, Gard breaks an all-time scoring record that has stood since 2001.

All five Titan starters scored in double figures, led by Katie Gard who finished with 20 points.

Other notable performances included 15 points from Jazmen Watts, 14 points from Tenleigh Phelps and 10 points from Emma Fisher.

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Wednesday, February 14th, when they travel to Chicago, Ill., to take on the Cougars of Saint Xavier University at 6:00 PM ET.
