South Bend, Ind. – The Indiana University South Bend softball team hit the road for a conference game with (RV) St. Xavier University on Tuesday afternoon. The Titans were unable to capitalize on the day, and fell to the Cougars in both ends of the double header.

•   Brittany Vanderbrink (FR/Avon, Indiana) was 1-2 with a walk
•   Shannon McCarty (SR/South Bend, Indiana): 1-3
•   Becca Stevens (SO/Mooresville, Indiana) took the loss on the mound, surrendering 8 hits and 5 runs on the day.
Game 2 HIGHLIGHTS
•   Brooke Boss (SR/Delavan, Wisconsin) came up with the lone hit for the Titans, doubling in the third inning.
•   Kiah Ferrel suffered the loss in the circle. Aly Brickel (JR/Hicksville, Ohio) also saw time on the mound for the Titans in game two.

•   The Titans will have two days to regroup before their final CCAC regular season double header. The Titans will head to Milwaukee, Wisc. to take on Cardinal Stritch University on Friday, April 26th. Game one is set to begin at 1:00 PM ET with game two following around 3:00 PM ET.
