TU Football Remains in Receiving Votes Portion of Top-25 Poll

UPLAND, Ind. – Despite having a week off due to its in-season bye week, Taylor continued to receive votes in the latest NAIA Top-25 Poll.

The Trojans collected 19 points in the new ratings, tying with Saint Francis (IN) for the 32nd-highest point total in the poll. That total marked a 10-point drop from the previous rankings that were announced following TU’s 42-35 win over Kentucky Christian to improve to 2-1 on the season.

The week off actually saw TU climb in several NAIA statistical categories, as the Trojans now sit No. 3 in the NAIA with 13 rushing scores, No. 4 with 831 rushing yards and 277.0 rushing yards per game, No. 6 with 29.1 yards per kickoff return and No. 7 with 43.0 points per contest.

RV Taylor (2-1) will return to action on Saturday, September 27, with a 2:00 pm (ET) start at Judson (0-3).
