U.S. Collegiate Women’s Select Team Set For Six Nations Tournament
Tournament is Dec. 11-15 in Tampere, Finland; Team and staff announced
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced the 25 players slated to take the ice as part of the U.S. Collegiate Women’s Select Team that will compete at the Six Nations Tournament in Tampere, Finland, from Dec. 11-15.

The tournament, which in addition to the U.S. includes Canada, Czechia, Finland, Switzerland and Sweden, marks the third stop on the Women’s Euro Hockey Tour. Team USA will compete in this tournament for the first time in 2024.

The roster is highlighted by 10 players from the 2024 U.S. Women’s National Team that took home silver at the IIHF Women’s World Championship in April, including Joy Dunne (O’Fallon, Mo./Ohio State University), Lacey Eden (Annapolis, Md./University of Wisconsin), Laila Edwards (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/University of Wisconsin), Rory Guilday (Chanhassen, Minn./Cornell University), Caroline Harvey (Salem, N.H./University of Wisconsin), Tessa Janecke (Warren, Ill./Penn State University), Sydney Morrow (Darien, Conn./University of Minnesota), Abbey Murphy (Evergreen Park, Ill./University of Minnesota), Kirsten Simms (Plymouth, Mich./University of Wisconsin) and Haley Winn (Rochester, N.Y./Clarkson University).

Additionally, Annelies Bergmann (Troy, Mich./Cornell University), Grace Dwyer (Wynnewood, Pa./Cornell University), Emma Gentry (Alpena, Mich./St. Cloud State University), Cassie Hall (South Lyon, Mich./University of Wisconsin), Peyton Hemp (Andover, Minn./University of Minnesota), Ella Huber (Northfield, Ill./University of Minnesota), Skylar Irving (Kingston, Mass./Northeastern University), Sloane Matthews (Plymouth, Minn./Ohio State University), Ava McNaughton (Seven Fields, Pa./University of Wisconsin), Casey O’Brien (Milton, Mass./University of Wisconsin), Emma Peschel (Edina, Minn./Ohio State University), Jordyn Petrie (Lincoln, Neb./Ohio State University), Laney Potter (Cranberry Township, Pa./University of Wisconsin), Amanda Thiele (Milford, Mich./Ohio State University) and Kiara Zanon (Fairport, N.Y./Ohio State University) will represent Team USA.

The six participating countries will be split into two groups. Group A includes the United States, Finland and Switzerland, while Group B features Canada, Czechia and Sweden. Teams will play each team in their group, before the top two teams of each group meet to determine placement in the championship and third-place games.

Team USA opens play on Dec. 11 against Finland at Hakametsä Arena. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. local time (12 p.m. ET). For more information on Team USA, including the full schedule, click HERE.

The staff of the U.S. Collegiate Women’s Select Team includes general manager Katie Million (Hannibal, N.Y.), head coach John Wroblewski (Neenah, Wis.), assistant coaches Molly Engstrom (Siren, Wis.) and Chelsea Walkland (Rochester, N.Y.), goaltending coach Alli Altmann (Eagan, Minn.), head scout Haley Skarupa (Rockville, Md.), video coach Amanda Long (Ukiah, Calif.), strength and conditioning coach Bill DeLongis (Mount Sinai, N.Y.), team physician Dr. Jill Moschelli, athletic trainers Katie Homan (Coldwater, Ohio) and Stef Arndt (Delafield, Wis.), massage therapist Jennifer Chee (Las Vegas, Nev.), sports dietician Shelly Guzman-Johnson (Seattle, Wash.), equipment manager Kaitlyn Scales (Apex, N.C.) and communications manager Melissa Katz (South Brunswick, N.J.).
