UCLA and USC Capture Big Ten Weekly Women’s Basketball Honors

Bruins’ Jaquez and Trojans’ Davidson earn weekly awards

 

Player of the Week

Gabriela Jaquez, UCLA

Sr. – Guard/Forward – Camarillo, Calif. – Camarillo

  • Tallied 23 points, five rebounds and two assists against Duke
  • Delivered a 29-point performance, including a career-high five three-pointers, against No. 14 Tennessee
  • Shot 71.4 percent from the floor (10-for-14) and 83.3 percent from behind the arc (5-for-6) with three rebounds, three assists and two steals versus the Lady Vols
  • Earns her first Big Ten Player of the Week honor

Jaloni Cambridge, OSU: Voted MVP of the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Classic after chipping in 20.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 steals
