USF senior WR MSFA MEL Offensive Player of the Week
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — University of Saint Francis wide receiver Dan Ricksy (Lafayette, IN / Jefferson H.S.) has been voted Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Player of the Week after his four touchdown reception game in 13th-ranked USF’s 59-20 win at Lawrence Tech University on Saturday.
Ricksy caught three TD passes from QB Matt Crable and one from Heath Simmons. He tied the USF record for TD receptions in a game for the second time in his career. He is the first WR to earn MSFA MEL POTW since Seth Coate in 2015.
This was Ricksy’s third POTW award, the first to coming last season for Special Teams POTW.
This is the 61st MSFA MEL Offensive POTW award for the USF program.
