CENTIER BANK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK – 12-16-18

The Centier Bank Performers of the Week are Bremen senior basketball player Karlee Feldman and Michigan City senior basketball player Hannah Noveroske.

In the Lions’ 66-17 victory over South Bend Clay on Saturday, the 6-foot-1 Feldman became the third player in program history to surpass the 1,000-point mark for her career. She finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds and also tallied 19 points and 10 boards on Friday in Bremen’s 43-39 triumph over Mishawaka. For the season, Feldman is averaging 12.2 points and 8.9 rebounds for the Lions (10-3).

The 6-foot-4 Xavier recruit helped the Wolves (10-3) to a 4-0 mark last week by tallying 13 points, 12 rebounds, and eight blocked shots in Tuesday’s 77-20 decision over Hobart and added 20 points, nine rebounds, and seven blocks in a 70-26 win over New Prairie on Thursday. Then, in Friday’s 69-52 triumph over Merrillville, Noveroske recorded 28 points, 11 rebounds, and six blocked shots before closing out the week with 28 points, 14 rebounds, and eight blocks in Saturday’s 56-40 victory against South Bend Riley.

The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
