Iowa’s Megan Gustafson, Michigan’s Hailey Brown and Michigan State’s Taryn McCutcheon are this week’s honorees

Megan Gustafson, Iowa

Scored a career-high 37 points on 17-of-23 field goals, while adding 14 rebounds for her NCAA-leading 17th double-double of the season in last Saturday’s loss at home to Purdue

Tied a school record with her 17 made field goals, matching Amy Herrig’s total against Northwestern on Feb. 14, 1999

Also tied for the second-most field goals made in a Big Ten game and most since Minnesota’s Rachel Banham made a conference-record 19 field goals against Northwestern on Feb. 7, 2016

Earns her seventh career Player of the Week honor and sixth of the season, tying the Big Ten record for the most Player of the Week awards in a single season set by Ohio State’s Jantel Lavender in 2010-11

Helped Michigan State to its first-ever win over Maryland and became the first Big Ten school other than Ohio State to defeat the Terrapins in their four seasons as a conference member

Katelynn Flaherty, Sr., G, MICH: Averaged 24.5 points and 4.0 assists per game in two Wolverine wins last week, while also becoming Michigan’s all-time leading scorer (male or female) with 2,457 career points, passing former Wolverine men’s standout Glen Rice (2,442 from 1985-89)

Stephanie Mavunga, Sr., F, OSU: Collected her third consecutive double-double and ninth of the season with 20 points and 18 rebounds last Saturday in the Buckeyes’ win at Indiana

Andreona Keys, Sr., G, PUR: Instrumental in Purdue’s two victories over ranked opponents last week, averaging 22.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game with a .571 field-goal percentage and a .714 three-point percentage, including a career-high 34 points in last Saturday’s win at No. 18/17 Iowa

Hailey Brown, Michigan

F – Hamilton, Ontario – The RISE Centre

Averaged 17.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game with a .682 field-goal percentage, including 4-of-4 three-point attempts in leading No. 23/20 Michigan to a pair of Big Ten wins last week

Scored a career-high 23 points on 10-of-12 shooting (and made all three of her three-point tries) while grabbing eight rebounds in last Wednesday’s victory over Indiana

Added 12 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season in last Saturday’s overtime win at Nebraska

Earns her first career Freshman of the Week honor
