Lady Chargers Fall in Conference Opener

Plymouth – Ancilla kept the score close early, but Lake Michigan took over midway through the first quarter to run away with a 76-46 win in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association opener for both teams Thursday night.
LaRae Rascoe led the Lady Chargers (6-5, 0-1) with 12 points, while Talie Bee scored 10 and pulled down eight rebounds.
Jayla Bibbs led LMC with 22 points and nine rebounds. She also had seven steals. Samantha Jenkins added 17 points and seven steals.
The Lady Chargers host Muskegon at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
