INDIANAPOLIS – The Bethel College Pilots’ men’s basketball team spotted the nation’s 11th-ranked team 16 consecutive points to open the game on Tuesday night, on their way to their worst defeat since the 2011-12 season with a 95-69 loss to Marian in Crossroads League action.

- The Pilots suffered their worst loss since a 101-66 loss to Keiser (Fla.) on December 17, 2011. It is their worst loss in Crossroads League play since a 93-58 loss to Indiana Wesleyan on January 6, 2007—head coach Ryne Lightfoot‘s freshman season at Bethel and a span of 200 Crossroads League regular season games.
- The Knights jumped out to a 16-0 lead to begin the game and never looked back, leading by 20 or more points for a majority of the second half.
- The Pilots were outrebounded 41-27—tied for their second-largest rebounding deficit in a single game this season.
- Paul Forman was held to season-lows with 6 points and 0 rebounds—just the second time since his freshman season that he was held without a rebound.
