Ojala Named NCCAA Women’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week

Following a great outing at the Rumble at the Rock at Rock Hollow Golf Course in Peru, Indiana, Bethel’s Jocelyn Ojala has been named the NCCAA Women’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week. This is the first weekly honor for the senior golfer this season.

Ojala claimed medalist honors in a head-to-head-to-head playoff at the Rumble at the Rock, the last regular-season tournament of her collegiate career. Ojala turned in the best round of the weekend on Friday by carding a 77 and added an 82 on Saturday to finish with a two-day tally of 159.

The next outing for the Pilots will be the Crossroads League Championship Tournament hosted at Eagle Eye Golf Club in Bath, Michigan. The two-day championship tournament tees off on May 1st and will conclude on May 2nd.
