Richter Named Academic All-District

LAKELAND, Fla.—Southeastern University senior guard Ana Richter has added to her long list of accolades from the 2017-18 season.

Richter was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, as voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America.

To be eligible for nomination, a player must have completed two semesters at their current institution, hold a 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and be a starter or key contributor to their team.

Richter was named The Sun Conference Player of the Year on Thursday, and leads NAIA Division II in scoring at 23.5 points per game. The Oxford, Ohio native is second in Division II in field goal percentage at 67.7%, and has averaged 7.4 rebounds per game.

On the defensive end, Richter has posted 84 steals and 10 blocks.

Additionally, she carries a 3.72 GPA as a Management major.

Richter is now eligible for the Academic All-America Teams, which will be announced March 15.
