Salyers and Hill Earn NAIA All-America Honors

 

KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics recently announced its 2017 Volleyball All-American Teams, with Marian’s Kacee Salyers and Grace’s Alexa Hill each making the list.

 

The Crossroads League Player of the Year, Salyers, earned the top honor for the league, earning Third-Team All-America attention. Salyers piled up 351 kills on a .246 percentage, ranked No. 6 in the NAIA with 72 service aces for the Knights and added 288 digs and 60 total blocks.

 

The Crossroads League Setter of the Year, Hill, was named as an Honorable Mention All-American. Hill ranked fifth among all NAIA athletes with 1,602 assists during the 2017 campaign and added 343 digs to go with 30 aces.
