SEU’s Harmon Signs with Pecos League

LAKELAND, Fla.—The second member of the 2017 Southeastern University baseball team has signed a professional contract.

Pitcher Nate Harmon has agreed to a contract to play for the Trinidad Triggers of the Pecos League.

In 22 starts over the last two seasons, Harmon was 15-4 with a 3.80 ERA. In 139.2 career innings pitched, he recorded 167 strikeouts, with just 48 walks. During this past season, Harmon was 11-2 in 16 appearances, tossing one complete game, and holding opponents to a .249 batting average against.

The Pecos League is an independent professional baseball league which operates in cities in desert mountain regions throughout California, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, and Texas. The Triggers play their home games in southern Colorado, just north of the New Mexico border.
