LAKELAND, Fla.—Southeastern University softball players Hannah Bodenhorn and Haleigh Harrell were recognized for their play last week by The Sun Conference.

Bodenhorn was named the league’s Pitcher of the Week, recording a no-hitter in her second start of the 2018 season. This marks the third collegiate no-hitter of her career. Over her five innings of work, Bodenhorn struck out 10 hitters.

Harrell was named Player of the Week for posting five hits and four RBIs in Saturday’s doubleheader sweep of Trinity Baptist. In the fourth inning of game two, Harrell launched her second home run of the season over the left field wall. The freshman leads the team in hits with 10 and is hitting .769 to open her career.

The Fire will head to Plant City on Friday for six games at the springbreaksoftball.com NAIA Weekend.
