Crossroads League Announces Spring All-Academic Recipients

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its 2019 Academic All-Crossroads League award winners from the spring semester on Tuesday, recognizing 313 student-athletes from the sports of tennis, basketball, track and field, baseball, softball and golf.
Taylor led all 10 Crossroads League institutions with 55 Academic All-CL award recipients, followed by 53 from Spring Arbor. Those two schools also tallied the most Academic All-CL award winners for the entire 2018-2019 year, with SAU taking 92 honors and TU posting 90. Throughout the league, a total of 551 student-athletes garnered Academic All-CL recognition during the 2018-2019 year.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-Crossroads League recognition, a student-athlete must have reached junior status academically with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and must have been nominated by their institution.
