Goshen High School’s Edward Jones Student Athlete of the Month – February 2018

Goshen High School and Edward Jones are proud to announce the student-athlete of the month award to recognize athletic and academic excellence.  A senior male and female student-athlete will be selected from August-May each school year.  At the end of the year, a $500 scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female student athlete of the month, as selected by the GHS coaching staff.

Mikayla Burkhead: Mikayla is the daughter of Heather Burkhead and Mike Klinger. Mikayla is a cheerleader for GHS and runs Track and Field. Mikayla was named MVP for cheer this past fall, was awarded the teamwork award, scholar athlete award, and received the captain award. She has cheered and ran track all four years of her high school career here at GHS. She plans to attend the University of Kentucky this coming fall to study Psychology and join their dance team.

Logan Hoogenboom: Logan is the son of Donna and John Hoogenboom. Logan is a swimmer for GHS and received the following awards: Most Improved, Phil Hoogenboom mental attitude, captain, and scholar athlete. Logan has swum for all four years of his career and plans to attend Ball State University to study Digital Media Production.
