AUSTIN, Texas—Southeastern University senior Ana Richter was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America College Division First Team.

Just five players in all divisions of NAIA, USCAA, NCCAA, Canadian, and two-year women’s college basketball were chosen for the first team with five more on the second team.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have two semesters complete at their institution with a 3.3 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and be a starter or key reserve on their team.

Richter was The Sun Conference Player of the Year, and was named to the NAIA Division II National Championship All-Tournament Second Team. Off the court, she holds a 3.72 GPA as a management major.

This marks the second consecutive year the Fire have placed at least one player on the first team. Both Bailey Hooker and Christin Strawbridge were selected to the first team last season.
