SEU Men’s Golf Eighth in Weather-Shortened Sand Shark Invitational

OKATIE, S.C.—The Fire men’s golf team posted team scores of 313 and 302 during 36 holes of play at Oldfield Golf Club to finish eighth.
The second-round score ranked seventh among the 14 participating teams. The final 18 holes were canceled due to weather.
Andres Padilla led the way for SEU in 19th place with a 36-hole score of 150 (77-73). Nicholas Maff was two shots back in a tie for 32nd with scores of 74 and 78.
Jacob Soucinek posted the second-best second-round score at 74 and finished with a total of 157 to tie for 45th. Noah Endicott Rounded out the scoring a shot behind Soucinek with rounds of 81 and 77.
The Fire return to action next week at the Point Invitational.
